Maternal uncle of Party President, Ms Mehbooba Mufti breathed his last on Saturday in Srinagar after a brief illness.
Deceased, Muhammad Shafi Farooqi, was elder brother of party senior leader Mohammad Sartaj Madni. He breathed his last at SKIMS where he was undergoing treatment for the past few days.
On behalf of the entire party leadership, PDP Patron Muzaffar Hussain Beigh has condoled Mr Farooqi’s demise and has expressed solidarity with Begum Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Ms Mehbooba Mufti, Sartaj Madni Sb and other members of the bereaved family.
The PDP patron has prayed for departed soul and patience to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
